PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercooler that can be set up in the engine room of a vehicle by easily securing a space and an air conditioner for vehicle that uses a CO2 refrigerant and is equipped with the intercooler. SOLUTION: In the intercooler 7, the connecting pipeline between a gas cooler 2 and an evaporator 4 is constituted in a double-pipe structure constituted by passing a high-pressure refrigerant flow passage 71 through a low-pressure refrigerant flow passage 72. The air conditioner for vehicle using the CO2 refrigerant is equipped with the intercooler 7.
