PURPOSE:To provide the array microphone having the function to automatically correct sensitivities of respective microphone units constituting the array microphone to the same characteristic. CONSTITUTION:The acoustic wave gathered by a microphone array 15 is outputted to the succeeding stage through first to N-th microphone units 11 to 14. First to (N-1)th sensitivity correcting devices 16 to 18 take the output signal of the N-th microphone unit 14 as the reference signal and correct the sensitivities of respective microphone units so that levels of output signals are equal to the signal level from the N-th microphone unit 14. As the result, levels of input signals to a directivity forming means 19 are equal to each other even in the case of the variance in sensitivity of microphone units, and the degradation of the directional pattern in the directivity forming means 19 is suppressed. |
