PURPOSE:To easily release an urethane molded form without using mold release agent, fluorine resin coating by covering at least a cavity surface of a mold with a ceramic layer having a constituting part which has affinity to water and/or alcohol. CONSTITUTION:At least cavity surface of a mold (i.e., a surface in contact with urethane material) is covered with a ceramic layer having a constituting part which has affinity to water and/or alcohol. The layer is formed by coating the cavity surface of an aluminum split mold 1 with coating liquid by dipping, and introducing the coated mold into an electric furnace to bake it, thereby forming the ceramic layer 2. Accordingly, water and gas or liquid containing alcohol are introduced into the molds before mold releasing, and hence an urethane molded form can be easily released from the molds without coating it with mold release agent. Thus, coating of the cavity surface with a large quantity of the agent in each molding cycle which has been indispensable in a conventional molding operation of the urethane molded form is eliminated. |
