PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin preparation which is used for external use, can effectively utilize fish skins which are industrial wastes, can sufficiently exhibit the moisture-retaining and skin-protecting effects of elastin, and is useful for preventing the aging of skins. SOLUTION: This skin preparation for external use contains a hydrolyzed elastin solution originated from fish skins, and an ingredient selected from a cell-activating ingredient and an anti-inflammatory ingredient. The cell- activating ingredient includes 2-hydroxycarboxylic acids, specific vitamin-like active substances, nucleic acid-related substances, serum-removed protein extracts, spleen extracts, placenta extracts, cockscom extracts, royal jelly, Ganoderma lucidum extracts, yeast extracts, lactobacillus extracts, bifidobacterium extracts, and bittern ingredients. The anti-inflammatory ingredient includes glycyrrhizic acid, glycyrrhetic acid, isopropylaminocaproic acid, azulene, lysozyme, salicylic acid, 7-oryzanol, allantoin, their derivatives, and their salts. |
