PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of vibration and noise of an adapter ring when a pump is operated while making a fitting assemblage of the adapter ring to a pump casing on a good condition by fitting the adapter ring to a fitting hole of the pump casing through a ring. SOLUTION: In a pump 10, an adapter ring 19 is fitted to a fitting hole 20 of a pump housing 11A through an O-ring 70, and the O-ring 70 is mounted to groove 71 disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the adapter ring 19. When the adapter ring 19 is fittingly assembled with the pump housing 11A, the adapter ring 19 is easily fitted to the fitting hole 20 of the pump housing 11A in association with elastic deformation of the O-ring 70, and a fitting assemblage is improved. After the adapter ring 19 is fittingly assembled with the pump housing 11a, the O-ring 70 is interposed between the adapter ring 19 and the pump housing 11A in a narrow pressure condition, and thereby, it possible to reduce vibration and noise of the adapter ring 19 when the pump 10 is operated.
