The condom, comprising a sheath (1) with a ring (4) and an optional reservoir (3) for collecting the sperm, has a zone (6) made from a material with no or reduced elasticity in the region of the glans and frenum to reduce physiological sensations. The zone (6) can have lengthwise extensions (7) of the same material along the adjacent portion of the sheath, and a variant of the design can have a hole (12) in the tip (2), preferably reinforced round the edge, to release the sperm with the aim of producing a vaginal sensation or attempted conception.
