WIRE PRESSURE CONNECTION METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent pressure connection error by avoiding the collision of dropping wire guides with terminal sidewalls. SOLUTION: This wire pressure connection method for putting electric wires 3 in press contact with a plurality of terminals 2 mounted in parallel in a connector 1 comprises arranging the electric wires 3 separately several times, moving wire guides 4 down along the outer face of both side walls 5 of the terminals 2 in such a condition and pressing the electric wires 3 between pressure connection members 7 provided on the inner faces of the side walls 5 of the terminals 2 while pushing them down with pressure connection blades 6. Pressure connection operation for each arrangement consists of two steps, the first one for temporary pressure connection therein the electric wires 3 are pressed in the terminals shallower enough to avoid the enlargement of their sidewalls 5 and the second one for final pressure connection wherein the electric wires 3 are pressed therein deeper at predetermined after all arrangement is competed.
