PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant data management device capable of easily and suitably replacing a unit computer, a plant data collecting computer or the like. SOLUTION: When a unit computer 4n is replaced, a new plant data collecting computer 3 is newly extended and a new data recording means 5 records replaced plant data obtained from the replaced unit computer 4n in the computer 3. The plant data of a non-replaced unit computer 4m are continuously recorded in an existing plant data recording computer 2. The computer 2 records also the unreplaced plant data of the computer 4n. Consequently the unit computer 4n can be replaced without exerting any influence on the computer 2.
