PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an information receiver that can generates a program list by which an operator can easily search a program with useful information such as programs preferred by the operator or having important information. SOLUTION: This information receiver is provided with a preference information storage means 121 to which preference information of an operator is entered via an external signal entry section 112, a relation calculation means 122 that calculates a degree of relation between the preference information entered in the preference information storage means 121 and program relation information stored in an input information storage section 114 and required to select a program, and a program list generating means 123 that generates a program list on the basis of the program relation information stored in the input information storage section 114 and a degree of relation calculated by the relation calculation means 122 and outputs the result to an information output section 113 that displays the list or the like.
