FLUID BEARING MOTOR AND HARD DISC DRIVE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing motor enabling automatic adjustment for the positioning of a magnet center in a magnetic circuit and a hard disc drive using the same motor. SOLUTION: A hub 11 is mounted to rotate freely to a support shaft 13 via a dynamic type bearing 14, a magnet 15 is fixed to the hub 11 and a motor coil 16 is mounted to the support shaft 13 via a rubber bush 18. The motor coil 16 can be moved in the shaft inserting direction of the support shaft 13 due to the elasticity of the rubber bush 18. During rotation, the positioning of the magnet center of a magnetic circuit 17 is automatically performed due to the magnetic attracting force generated between the magnet 15 and motor coil 16.
