PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the operator's work load and to simplify apparatus constitution. SOLUTION: This photographic film processing apparatus is provided with a pair of transport rollers TR which hold and transport the photographic films F and a rotational drive means RD for rotationally driving the drive roller 20 of these transport rollers TR at a transport route for transporting the photographic films F to a processing section to process the photographic films F. In such a case, the friction force between the surface of the drive roller 20 in contact with the photographic films F and photographic film is set so that slippage occurs between the same and the photographic films F as the transport movement thereof is inhibited by the contact of the photographic films F with other objects.
