PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory camera apparatus where privacy of an image of a camera can be secured without losing a supervisory function. SOLUTION: In the supervisory camera apparatus provided with a supervisory camera that is capable of panning of 360 degrees and tilting in excess of 90 degrees and its controller, the supervisory camera stores masks data making 50 a privacy zone of an image and part of the image is masked according to the data. Since only part of the image is hidden, the privacy can be secured without losing the supervisory function. Moreover, since the supervisory camera stores the masking data in this system, the security of privacy can quickly be coped with.
