PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable resistance circuit with excellent linearity. SOLUTION: A series circuit comprising resistors R24-R20 and drains and sources of MOSFETs (Q24-Q20) is connected between a terminal T21 receiving an input signal and a terminal T22 from which an output signal is extracted. In this case, the resistors R24-R20 are connected to the terminal T21. Applying each of bits b4-b0 of control data D48 respectively to gates of the MODFETs (Q24-Q20) conducts ON/OFF control of the MOSFETs (Q24-Q20). Though the on/off control of the above, a resistance depending on the resistors connected in series with the conductive MOSFETs is obtained between the terminals T21, T22.
