PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna assembly where a rod element employs a telescopic structure so as to make a case of the antenna assembly small, a user feels no sense of incongruity in the appearance because large diametrical parts are absent in the rod element and that has excellent flexibility to preclude the possibility of damage and requires no individual matching circuit. SOLUTION: An insertion hole 25 for insertion of a rod element 22 is provided to a coil cover 24 containing a coil element 23 to constitute a telescopic structure for the antenna assembly 21. A metallic cylinder 27 connected to the coil element 23 is fitted to the coil cover 24. An electric insulation sheath 30 and a metallic fixture 29 are provided to an outer face of the metallic cylinder 27 and the rod element 22 inserted to the insertion hole 25. The metallic fixture 29 and the metallic cylinder 27 adopt a structure where they are respectively in contact with a connection metallic fixture 29 connected to an electric circuit of an enclosure 2.
