PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent high temperature bubbles or boiling water, generated from a humidifier, from flowing reversely to the side of a water channel interconnecting a tubular heating pipe and a water tank by providing a reverse flow preventing plate having a water passing hole smaller than the inside diameter of the heating pipe in the water channel. SOLUTION: Couplings 7 and 17 are interconnected through a synthetic resin elbow 19 and a water channel 20 interconnecting a water tank 9 and a heating pipe 12 is defined by the elbow 19, the couplings 7, 17, and a fitting part 16. A reverse flow preventing plate 21 is positioned below the heating pipe 12 while having a circular water passing hole 22 smaller than the inside diameter of the heating pipe. Diameter of the water passing hole depends on the size of the heating pipe and heat generation of a heater 13 and it is set experimentally at 10 mm when the inside diameter of the heating pipe 12 is about 30 mm and heat generation of the heater 13 is about 250 W.
