PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure regulator whose operation force is reduced, whose indication pressure is clear and legible and whose pressure set is easy. SOLUTION: A pressure indication plate 83 rises along the pressure indication line following to the rotation of an operation part 69 and the lead angle of a female screw 79. At the second round time of the rotation of the operation part 69, the pressure value before one rotation is hidden by the pressure indication plate 83. Therefore, a present pressure value can be judged clearly. The maximum pressure is regulated by the contact of an insert nut lower part 91 to a spring cylinder upper part 93. As this maximum pressure is set to low, a collar is fixed to either place of the lower end of the insert nut lower part 91 or the upper end of a spring cylinder upper part 93.
