摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cooling liquid from rising sharply in temperature by a method wherein an electronic device cooling equipment is equipped with cooling units, and the ratio of the number of ON units to the number of OFF units is controlled. SOLUTION: Two or more cooling units, for instance, three cooling units, a cooling unit 9A composed of a compressor 6 and others inside a refrigeration cycle 5 and cooling units 9B and 9C of the same structure with the cooling unit 9A, are provided inside an electronic device cooling equipment 1. Controllers 7A, 7B, and 7C and temperature detectors 8A, 8B, and 8C which control the cooling units 9A, 9B, and 9C are each connected to the cooling units 9A, 9B, and 9C. The compressors 6 are successively turned OFF one by one depending on the heat from an electronic device load, the ratio of the number of ON compressors 6 to the number of OFF compressors 6 is controlled, and the compressors are stopped from being turned OFF when a cooling power gets smaller than the heat from an electronic device. By this setup, a cooling liquid rises in temperature corresponding to a change in the heat, and a cooling liquid can be prevented from rising sharply in temperature.
