PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce contents even in an equipment without having a contents reproduction right by providing a contents key for decoding distribution contents data, generating a reproduction command concerning another equipment without having the usage right of contents data and transmitting it to another equipment. SOLUTION: A home server 51 and a placement equipment 52 are mutually authenticated. A cipher processing part 65 receiving register information from a high order controller 62 inspects a signature added to the signature inspecting unit 115 of a encipher/decoding module 96 with register information by the public key of an authenticating station, which is supplied from the storage module 92 of the cipher processing part 65. A decoding unit 111 decodes a contents key Kco by a preservation key kSAVE. The home server 51 executes transmission to the placement equipment 52 through the use of the contents, the reproduction command of the contents and the contents key KCO. The placement equipment 52 without holding the reproduction right of the contents reproduces the contents through the use of the reproduction command and the contents key KCO. |
