PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod which gets compact enough for carrying and high enough for use by improving the leg extension ratio. SOLUTION: This tripod has a base body 21 with a pair of fitting-in holes 25 formed to be separated and faced with each other. A pair of rotatable supporting shaft portions of a first leg 27 is fitted rotatably in each of the pair of fitting-in holes 25 of the base body 21. The pair of rotatable supporting shaft portions are located coaxially at the outer surface of the upper end of the first leg 27 and integrally formed to project. The upper end surface of a second leg 29 so inserted in the first leg 27 that the length of its protruding portion is adjustable can be located on the same plane with the upper end surface of the first leg 27, thereby improving the leg extension ratio. |
