PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lug terminal to be easily fixed by a method wherein, when the lug terminal is inserted into a conductive column, the terminal is pressed by the base of an insulating cover and a rib, and the lug terminal and a conductive plate are brought into close contact so as to be electrically connected together. SOLUTION: A lug terminal 3 is inserted into a conductive column 4, and moreover a fixing pawl 2a is press-fit into a cutout 1a, by which a protective cover 2 is mounted on a main body 1. At this point, when the lug terminal 3 is inserted into the conductive column 4, the lug terminal 3 is brought into close contact with the conductive plate 11 by the tapered side of a partition 9 so as to reduce a gap 10 to nearly zero. Furthermore, the lug terminal 3 is pressed by lug terminal pressing faces 2b and 2c and a rib 2d located on the under surface of the protective cover 2, by which the lug terminal 3 and the conductive plate 11 are brought into close contact and electrically connected together. By this setup, lug terminals can be easily fixed without using screws.
