PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the fluctuation of the speed of an intermediate transfer belt occurring because of the fluctuation of the speed of a photoreceptor drum in a multiple image forming device. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an electrifier 11 uniformly electrifying the surfaces of the plural photoreceptor drums 5, an exposure unit forming an electrostatic latent image on the drum 5 by emitting a scanning line corresponding to the image data of a specified color, a developing unit 13 making the electrostatic latent image formed on the drum 5 a sensible image, the intermediate transfer belt 6 arranged along the drum 5, a driving roller circulaly turning the belt 6, a driven roller rotated according as the belt 6 is turned by the driving roller and a 1st transfer roller 21 freely rotatably arranged at a position separated from a contact part B between the drum 5 and the belt 6 and brought into contact with the belt 6 by being pressed so as to successively superpose and transfer toner images made to be sensible on the drum 5 on the belt 6.
