PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification method of a mounted device in a multi- functional device capable of preventing a malfunction even when mounting and connection of the device are insufficient. SOLUTION: In this multi-functional device, a timing signal to acquire identification information to identify the device is transmitted to the mounted device (S102), the identification information transmitted from the mounted device is received according to the timing signal (S103), specified data of the identification information is decided whether it is a specified value or not for a specified kind of device (S108) and when a value of the specified data is decided as the specified one, control is performed by defining the mounted device is the specified kind (S110, S111). |
