PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain information on a utility pole at a job site, and to facilitate control of the utility pole by providing a data carrier which stores data concerning the utility pole and is fitted to the utility pole, and a reader writer which reads and writes data of the data carrier in a noncontact manner. SOLUTION: A data carrier 2 has memories and an antenna inside, and data stored in the memories of the data carrier 2 is transmittable from the antenna, and the data transmitted from the antenna are received by a reader writer 3 and are read. A call is made with feeble electric wave from the reader writer 3, and an induced electromagnetic field is formed with the electric wave. Consequently, data concerning a utility pole become available at a job site, where maintenance and construction work is performed, and enhancement of labor effectiveness at the job site becomes feasible. |
