PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission line adaptor and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of attaining very simple design and easy and low-cost manufacture. SOLUTION: This power line adaptor is provided with a core 2 and windings of a transformer 1, which are supported by a coil former 21. The coil former is positioned at injection molding so that only small portions on its surface may come into contact with it, and the transformer 1 is separated from its wall. By forming a plastic outer board 22 with molding, a small and light one- piece casing 7 is completed with surrounds all around the transformer so as to come into contact with them. A joint between the coil former 21 and the outer board 22 is at the bottom of a recessed portion separating cooling fins 20.
