PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that a home position detection means is prevented from being damaged and deformed when an electrifier is attached and detached. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with the transfer and separation electrifier (electrifier) 1 having a corona electrode, a cleaning member 4 cleaning the discharge wire 3 of the corona electrode and an automatic cleaning mechanism automatically reciprocatingly moving the cleaning member 4 in the longitudinal direction of the corona electrode, an electrifier attaching part having a micro switch (home position detection means) 20 detecting that the cleaning member 4 exists at a home position and an attaching and detaching means attaching and detaching the electrifier 1 with respect to the electrifier attaching part vertically to the moving direction of the cleaning member 4. Besides, it is provided with an obstruction member (contact prevention means) 8 preventing the cleaning member 4 from being brought into contact with the switch 20 when the electrifier 1 is attached and detached.
