PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve easy in structure, excellent in reliability of opening and closing operations of a valve element, preventing the number of part items and man-hour for assembly from increasing, and capable of simplifying a passage structure. SOLUTION: This control valve is formed so that a ball valve element 40, opening and closing a communicating path 34 communicating a suction port with a crank chamber of a compressor, connected to a valve stem 42 fitted slidably to a valve stem engaging hole 35 formed in a valve housing 31 is energized by a compressive coiled spring 54 in the valve closing direction. A suction pressure of the compressor is applied to a diaphragm chamber 49 to connect a diaphragm device 43 driving the ball valve disc 40 through the valve stem 42 in the valve opening direction to the valve stem 42. A valve opening direction pressure receiving surface 55 by a height difference end face is formed at the middle part of the valve stem 42, a delivery pressure path 36 for leading a delivery pressure of the compressor as a compensating pressure is formed in the middle part of the valve housing 31, and an internal communicating hole 57 communicating a compressor suction port of the communicating path 34 with the diaphragm chamber 49 is formed inside the valve housing 31. |
