摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-scanning light-emitting device of a structure wherein the number of bonding pads can be reduced to three or two. SOLUTION: T1 to T4 of this self-scanning light-emitting device are light- emitting elements, D1 to D4 of the device are coupled diodes, and R1 to R4 of the device are gate load resistors. Anodes of the odd-numbered light-emitting elements are connected with a clock pulse light ϕ1 11, and anodes of the even- numbered light-emitting elements are connected with a lock pulse line ϕ2 12. Gates of the light-emitting elements are connected with a power pulse line ϕGK 14 via the gate load resistors R1, R2, R3... and, moreover, fellow gate electrodes adjacent to each other are connected with the power pulse line ϕGK 14 via the coupled diodes D1, D2, D3.... The lines 11, 12 and 14 are respectively connected with the outside via bonding pads 21, 22 and 24. When the voltage of the R1 is selected low in comparison with the voltages of the R2, R3..., the clock pulse line ϕ1 is turned into a high level when the power pulse line ϕGK is set at a low level. Whereupon, the light-emitting element T1 results in being selectively turned on.
