PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the movement of an object and to attain accurate and smooth control by a control device for moving/positioning an object, especially a suspended object in micro-gravity space. SOLUTION: A computer 11 is arranged in a control room 10 in a residential area A of a space station 1, many testing racks 2, 3 are arranged in an experimental area B, position sensors 4A, 4B are arranged in the front of respective racks 2, 3, and energy radiators 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B are arranged on the front and back of the room. A connector 7 is attached to the back plane of each rack. A module 20 for controlling the floating state in the space of the area B is radiated with energy such as sound waves and electromagnetic waves from the energy radiators 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B and the computer 11 leads the module 20 to a prescribed rack while correcting a moving schedule by signals outputted from the sensors 4A, 4B, allows the module 20 to enter onto the rack by driving a linear motor coil attached to the rack and allowed the module 20 to engage with the connector 7.
