PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform color correction of video signals by producing the color correction information showing the input/output relation about the color correction of video signals on the basis of a plurality of sample colors and the theoretical colors of each sampling area and then performing the color correction. SOLUTION: Color correction information is produced, to show the input/ output relation about the color correction of video signals on the basis of the plurality of sample colors obtained by sampling a plurality of sampling areas and the theoretical colors for each sampling area. At the same time, a color correction interpolation expression decision part 22 produces an interpolation formula about a luminance value Ey, a hue value Eh and a chroma saturation value Ec. An LUT(look-up table) generating part 26 produces the color correction LUT of RGB values, and a color correction execution part 28 performs color correction on an image by means of the color correction LUT. Under such conditions, a color image which is to undergo the color correction is captured by a video capture board 38, and the RGB values of each pixel of the color image are corrected via the color correction LUT.
