PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control recovery from a faulty operation response to the operation state of signal processing. SOLUTION: This signal processor has a ROM 12, a RAM 13 in which the procedure of signal processing is stored, a program and instruction generating section 14, a signal processing core section 16a that executes major operations of signal processing on the basis of a program and outputs a count signal in response to the operating state, a counter section 18a that counts the count signal given from a main signal processing section 19 of the signal processing core section 16a, and a control section 8 that controls the operation state of the signal processing core section 19, on the basis of the result of count by the counter section 18a.
