PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the waiting time from issue of a command of finish of recording to actual finish of recording by controlling so that a time from start of writing in a buffer memory to start of recording in an optical disk is made shorter than a time at which a signal between music is not recorded, when a signal between music is recorded based on operation of an operation means. SOLUTION: It is assumed that a waiting time from pressing of a voice recording button 28 to start of recording in an optical disk 56 is P, time difference between all data length of a buffer memory 80 and all output data length based on tolerable frequency deviation (e.g. 300 PPM) of a standard clock and a reproduction clock is (a), and record length of a signal between music is (b), when the waiting time P is controlled so as to be P<=a-b (P>=0), recording can be performed without generating buffer-under-run. A waiting time from command of finish of recording to finish of recording of the optical disk 56 can be made the shortest by setting a waiting time P to a value being eaual to (a-b) or a value being approximate to this value.
