The bed sheet or cover has a fitted section (R2) at the foot of the bed which encloses the mattress. Hanging sections (P) run along the sides from the end of the fitted section to the top of the bed. These can be tucked under the mattress, so that the sheet does not slide off but allows more space to the occupant of the bed.
