PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that the temperature of a fixing means can be made to rise in a short time, handleability is not lowered even when the supply of electric power to the fixing means is stopped during standby time, energy can be saved, usable term can be prolonged and an effect by the leaked substance of an auxiliary power source can be reduced. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with the fixing means 1 heating a toner image on a toner image carrier and fixing it on the toner image carrier, a main power source 2 supplying the energy to the fixing means 1 and the auxiliary power source 3 auxiliary supplying the energy to the fixing means 1. Then, the power source 3 is arranged so that it can be attached and detached with respect to an image forming device main body.
