COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND CHANNEL ESTIMATE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of a channel estimate value in a radio communication system introducing transmission diversity. SOLUTION: A phase rotation estimate section 210 rotates a channel estimate value of a signal of a common pilot channel B by a candidate phase rotation amountθ(θ=0, 180) to synthesize a channel estimate value of a signal of a common pilot channel A. Then the section 210 estimates a value with highest orthogonality between the synthesis result and the channel estimate of a signal of an individual channel as a phase rotation amount. A channel estimate value synthesis section 211 synthesizes a value of rotating the channel estimate value of the signal of the common pilot channel B by the phase rotation amountθand the channel estimate value of the signal of the common pilot channel A.
