PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically decide a circuit that is captured according to an originating dial number in an abbreviated dial originating mode by converting an additional dial number stored in a 2nd abbreviated dial memory into a PB signal and automatically transmitting the PB signal to the terminating side. SOLUTION: At a calling side, a line is captured and then dial tone is heard from the circuit. Then the data of a 1st abbreviated dial memory 15 are converted into PB signals by a PB signal transmitter circuit 8 and transmitted to the circuit via a TDSW circuit 7, a DA/AD converter circuit 6, a 2-wire/4- wire converter circuit 4 and a relay 2. The circuit side transmits a terminating signal to the called side. When the called side makes a primary reply, the circuit side transmits a polarity inverting signal to the calling side. When the calling side receives the polarity inverting signal, the data of a 2nd abbreviated dial memory 16 are converted into PB signals by the circuit 8 and transmitted to the called side via the circuits 7, 6, 5 and 4 and the relay 2 to proceed to a calling state.
