PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor improving detecting sensitivity. SOLUTION: A magnetic plate 5 is placed on the opposite side of magnetic resistance elements 6, 7 with respect to a magnet 2. Projecting parts 5a, 5b extending to the magnetic resistance elements 6, 7 are formed on the magnetic plate 5. Providing the projecting parts 5a, 5b on the magnetic plate 5 reduces magnetic resistance between the projecting parts 5a, 5b and the magnet 2, and magnetic line of force emitted from the magnet 2 is focused on the projecting parts 5a, 5b.
