PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To educe the number of a valve device required as a whole and make the device or facility including the valve device compact and also an operability favorable, by constituting plural kinds of valves as a single valve device. SOLUTION: A valve device is provided with a function valve (flow rate adjust valve) 16 for internally touching a spool valve element 50 to the cylindrical slide surface 48 of a valve housing 46 and changing the opening of the flow route 56 opening at the slide surface 48 by the axial movement of the spool valve element 50, an open/close valve 10 for opening/closing the flow route by the axial movement of a valve element 36 and a drive shaft 20 common to those function valve 16 and open/close valve 10 for carrying out both axial drive of the spool valve element 50 in the function valve 16 and the axial drive of the valve element 36 in the open/close valve 10. Here, the function valve 16 can be constituted as a selector valve and mixing valve for switching the flow passage by the axial movement of the spool valve element 50.
