PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of automatic execution times on calibration as much as possible and to use the performance of a picture output device to the maximum. SOLUTION: A means 110 converting input picture data D1 into data D1s of a standard color space and a means 111 judging whether input picture data D1s converted into the standard color space are data in the reference range of color reproduction in picture output or not are installed. When input picture data are judged to be not data in the reference range, calibration for bringing a color reproduction range close to the reference range is executed. |
