PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing process for a wire harness to rationally manufacture it. SOLUTION: A continuing coated electric wire 31 and a branch wire 32 are pinched between pinching parts 12 (22) of a first housing 10 and a second housing 20 with the wires 31, 32 vertically overlapped each in a coating state. In that state, by applying an ultrasonic wave to the coated electric wire 31 and the branch wire 32 from the outside of the housings 10, 20 with vertically pressurizing the wires 31, 32 through the first and second housings 10, 20, coating insulations of the coated electric wire 31 and the branch wire 32 vertically overlapping are melted to electrically connect mutual core wires, and abutment surfaces 15, 25 of the first and second housings 10, 20 are integrally ultrasonic- welded to form a wire harness 1. |
