PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time for replacing carriages for solid metal and liquid metal, and to enhance equipment handlability. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a neutron generator 1, a living organism shielding body 2 arranged to surround the generator 1, and a supporting carriage 5 penetrated through the shielding body 2 to support the neutron generator 1 and to take the generator 1 in and out at the time of replacement and repairing thereof, and the equipment is formed to use replaceably plural kinds of metals as metals used for a neutron source of the neutron generator 1. The supporting carriage 5 is formed to be used commonly for support and replacement for all the neutron source metals.
