PURPOSE: A bumper stopper of a shock absorber is provided to prevent buckling, and to lengthen a life span of the bumper stopper by forming buckling preventive beads in round grooves longitudinally. CONSTITUTION: A bumper stopper(50) is placed in a dust cover to prevent the dust cover from being bumped into an outer pipe and to absorb vibration and impact in rebounding. The bumper stopper is supported longitudinally by inserting a piston rod, and compressed by moving up a cap in rebounding. The diameter of the bumper stopper is decreased for the cap, and round grooves(52) are formed around the bumper stopper. Beads(53) are arranged longitudinally in round grooves, and formed integrally with the bumper stopper. The life span of the bumper stopper is extended by preventing buckling.
