MOVABLE CONTACT DEVICE OF CIRCUIT BREAKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable contact device of a circuit breaker of a structure for which the movable contact can be mounted on a connection conductor easiler than in the conventional cases. SOLUTION: A movable contact device is so structured that its contacting piece 1 has a movable contact 2 at one end and a shaft pin 3 penetrates the other end. The pin 3 is journaled to a cross-bar 4, and thereby the contacting piece 1 is supported rotatably around the cross-bar 4. The two sides of that part of the movable contact 1 which mates with the pin 3 are pinched by pinching pieces 6a provided on a connection conductor 6, and the movable contact 1 will be in slide contact with the conductor 6. The pinching pieces 6a are put in pressure contact with the contacting piece 1 by a torsion coil spring 5, whose coil part 5a is located between the pinching pieces 6a and the cross-bar 4. Each pinching piece 6a is provided with a notch 6b, and the pin 3 is mounted in the notch 6b.
