PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a residue food a fodder by which a proportion of the residue fodder to a mixed fodder is high and the fodder capable of improving the growth of a livestock is obtained. SOLUTION: This method for making the residue food the fodder comprises a recovering step for recovering the residue food 12, a food residue-measuring step for measuring the weight of the residue food 12 recovered at the recovering step, a mixture-measuring step for measuring a bran 6 for regulating the water content of the residue food 12 by mixing the bran 6 with the residue food 12, and high-temperature aerobatic fermentation microorganisms 7 for fermenting the food residue 12 by each prescribed amount corresponding to the weight of the measured residue food 12, a heating and maturing step for forming a mixture by mixing the measured residue food 12, bran 6 and fermentation microorganisms 7, and stirring the obtained mixture in a fermentation container 15 while heating the mixture so that the temperature of the mixture may be 70-80 deg.C, a first screening step for removing impurities from the fermented and matured intermediate, and a crushing step for crushing the intermediate having passed the first screening step to provide the objective fodder.
