PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductive tape for a power cable recyclable (that is, easily recoverable from a dismantled cable and reclaimable into an original semiconductive tape) and environmentally friendly because the tape contains no halogen element, and to provide a power cable using it excellent in recyclability, having more reusable members than before. SOLUTION: This semiconductive tape for a power cable is formed by sheeting and cutting out a thermoplastic and semiconductive compound containing a soft thermoplastic resin including no halogen element, an electroconductivity imparting agent and a peeling property imparting agent. In the power cable, a semiconductive layer as a shielding layer is formed of the semiconductive tape for the power cable.
