PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable medium ejecting mechanism having good operability, capable of preventing touching of a tray on a hand even when a CD-ROM is used. SOLUTION: An arm part is provided in a front face of a removable medium driving device, one end of the arm part is held and fixed in a casing, the other end is exposed from the casing at a place other than the lower part of a tray, with the exposed part set as an eject button 15 and by pressing this eject button 15, a medium is ejected by operating the eject switch of the removable medium driving device. Thus, the easily handled removable medium ejecting mechanism capable of preventing the touching of the tray on the hand during medium ejecting is obtained.
