PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a request queue controller capable of preventing any failure due to the generation of a blocking transfer, and capable of storing a transfer request which should be temporarily preserved while the transfer which is being processed ends and a data transferring method. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving a data transfer request (401), a transfer controller decides whether or not data in a prescribed dimension can be received by inquiring a destination port (402). When the data can not be received by the destination port, the transfer controller waits until the data can received by the destination port (412). When the data can received by the destination port, the destination port assigns a writing reservation station to the data (403). The transfer controller reads the data in the prescribed dimension from a source port (404), and transfer the data to the destination port (405). The destination port transfers the data to an additional application unit, and releases the assignment of the writing reservation station, and prepares a space for the next data transfer (406).
