PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain production with short process using inexpensive existing materials in large quantities at a very low cost as well as to improve solubility and light fastness of a coupler by introducing a ballast group, having a part with a cyclohexane residue bonded via two carbonyl groups. SOLUTION: 1,2-disubstituted cyclohexane of the formula has cis form and trans form in configuration of respective substituents, and (+)-isomer and (-)-isomer of optical active substance exist with respect to substances, and furthermore meso form and racemic form exist because there are two asymmetic centers. In the formula, R is optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted aryl or the like, R1 is a substituent, (s) is an integer of 0-4, when 2<=s<=4, plural symbols R1 may be the same or different, L1 is a divalent combining group, (m) is an integer of 0-2, L2 is a linkage radical, (n) is 0 or 1 and Cp is a coupler residue.
