PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point management system which can manage the points when the commodities are reimbursed. SOLUTION: This system includes a card 1, an automatic vending machine 10 having a card reader 11 and a host computer 30. The computer 30 adds up the points which are given to a user according to the amount that is paid for purchasing the commodities. The vending machine 10 has a key switch 20 which serves as a reimbursement indicating means, and the computer 30 includes a CPU 34 which compares the total point with the points of commodities to be reimbursed to perform the reimbursement only when the total point is larger than the points of commodities to be reimbursed and also subtracts the points of commodities to be reimbursed from the total point. |
