<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package structure of a battery, in which an electrolyte is encapsulated in Al-laminate members followed by sheathing, establish a method of manufacturing the package structure, and establish a technology for battery equipped with such a sealing structure, whereby it is possible to prevent water, etc., from penetrating from the seal part and maintain the reliability even under a long-term storage under severe condition. SOLUTION: This battery package structure is configured, and an electrolyte is encapsulated in Al-laminate members 1 and 2 followed by subjecting it to sheathing, and the Al-laminate members are structured, so that high-polymer layers 1b and 2b are formed on one-side surfaces of Al-based substance members 1a and 2a, respectively, and sealing of the package structure is generated by fusion attaching the Al-laminate members to each other, in such a condition that the Al-based substance member surfaces overlap one over the other. Manufacture of the package structure is conducted by fusion attachment of the Al-based substance members to each other and volatilization of the high-polymer layers of the seal part. The package structure is obtained by sealing the electrode part with high-polymer substance and sealing the other parts according to the above method and includes also a battery embodied in either of the two described package structures.</p> |
