PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for a branch saddle for replacing a vertical tube without destroying the saddle in replacing the tube. SOLUTION: This fixing method for a branch saddle 10 is for fixing the saddle 10 as an inflow or outflow branch pipe to the side surface of a vertical tube 11. The saddle 10 is engaged by a fixing band 12, and moreover removing water in the connection part between the tube 11 and the saddle 10 by a sealing agent 13, to join the saddle 10 to the tube 11.
